After looking at the Wikipedia page it is clear that there are numerous types of artistic media. As i was reading the assignment for the blog post about media, I kept thinking about the different types pf media we used in class reading and understanding Shakespeares Richard III. I had the printed book version, while others had it on audio, and others had it on their ipad or laptop. In my opinion, the best media that fits me and helps me understand the most is through a movie with actors. Watching the movie Richard III was the most beneficial media in expressing to me the ways in which the play's plot unfolded, even though it was set in a different time period, I felt the movie did a great job in the expressions and action that i didnt really feel like i got from reading it in the book. I feel like if the movie was set back in Medieval times, i would have lost interest. I feel like the different media's we used to go over Richard III gave the whole class a good idea of what media works well for them. In my case, i like being able to watch things unfold rather than read about it. However, a pencil is considered a peice of media, In the school setting, when im taking notes, I have to write things down on paper, rather than type on my laptop, it just doesnt effect me the same, i dont know if anyoine else has this problem.
As Doctor MB said the tanks really helped keep the movie interesting. I feel like it was in the spirit of the play as well, every single actor going into a play is going to have a different interpretation of the character they are playing and so this movie just had these actors interpretation that was even more different
